How long is the visit?
Expect your visit to last 2 hours. A University of Minnesota tour guide will bring your group on a guided tour through the heart of campus. The tour is accompanied by a 30-minute information session.
How large can my group be?
At this time, we are only able to accommodate groups up to 60 people (prospective Freshman). Groups of prospective Transfer students are limited to 30 people.
Does the University of Minnesota provide transportation to campus visitors?
Campus visitors must provide their own transportation to campus. To discuss your group's needs, please contact the Visitline at 612-625-0000 or groups@umn.edu.
Does the University of Minnesota provide lunch or refreshments to campus visitors?
Because of limited resources, we are not able to sponsor meals or host lunches in our spaces. For dining options around campus, please refer to the Eating on Campus overview to review your options.
